Meet Lucy
Lucy has completed a Bachelor of Nursing and practiced as a Registered Nurse for four years within tertiary hospitals and clinic settings.
Since transitioning her career into Naturopathy, Lucy has gained special insights with experience in both conventional and traditional medicine.
She is passionate about improving your vitality and quality of life with her own personal challenges with burnout, digestive issues and amenorrhea.
Lucy brings a calm, compassionate and empathetic lens because she knows first hand how it feels to live out of rhythm with her body.
She believes health is not the absence of disease, but feeling alive, whole and peaceful inside and out.
For Lucy, health and wellbeing is also seen as living in sync with the gifts of your heart and to the natural rhythms of your body’s design.
For Lucy, this also means expressing her creativity.
Her love and intrigue for nature is what drives both her work as a Naturopath and creativity as an artist which you can also find through the shops tab.
Why Naturopathy?
During my years of Nursing I began to feel conflicted within the conventional medical system.
I wanted to help people prevent dis-ease and to understand their symptoms as messengers to transformation rather than suppress them with more medication.
I also experienced burnout as a Nurse and found my own mental and physical health was suffering.
Since transitioning to Naturopathy, I have gained such a deeper perspective on health. Complimentary medicine supports your body back into balance while empowering your next steps.
Treatment focus is always holistic and long term for improved vitality in all areas of health- Mind, body & spirit.
